HTG Molecular Diagnostics Hires Vice President of Medical Innovation

TUCSON, Ariz. (April 26, 2012)– HTG Molecular Diagnostics, a privately-held, Tucson-based provider of molecular-technology solutions, hired Chris Roberts as vice president of medical innovation. Roberts joins HTG from Caris Life Sciences where he served as vice president of the oncology division and helped build the Caris Target NowTM business line into a global leader of molecular profiling services. Roberts also served as a director in the molecular diagnostic and strategic marketing divisions at Ventana Medical Systems, a member of the Roche group. He earned a B.S. in chemical engineering from Georgia Tech and an MBA from Duke University.
